"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Peter Kennedy, DSaF 2

Sporthead Phone has other meanings. See Phone (disambiguation) for other uses. Sporthead

Peter Thomas Kennedy is Jack's brother and employer in the Bakersfield Location, and a major character in Dayshift at Freddy's 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Peter serves as the deuteragonist of all the Good Routes, and the heroic main antagonist of the Evil Routes.

Appearance[]

Peter Kennedy is a male human with a red rotary phone as a head and usually wears light blue, long-sleeved shirts and black pants. While alive, he had brown hair.

Information[]

Peter is Jack's employer, and is responsible for monitoring his activity around 'Freddy Fazbender's Pepperonerie'.

Peter Kennedy is a man with a red rotary phone as a head like Phone Guy from "Dayshift at Freddy's" since he is another version of him.

He is the manager in the Bakersfield joint, as he watches Jack's every move and has the ability to fire or warn him if you cause some sort of insubordinate behavior, such as; choosing inappropriate drawings to put on the walls, peeing on slides, telling jokes about him to children, or dying in public.

Like Dave and Jack, Peter is bound to the Freddy Fazbender's joints. He even claims that he has a long desire to return to his family of a wife and two sons. However, in a family photo, his two sons are in it and they appear in the pizza joint. It is also implied he is divorced from his phone wife.

This shows that he has forgotten his past as he doesn't have any children. However, in the Perfect Ending, Peter will share some memories he had with his actual wife while alive, showing he still has some recollection about it, and also state that he has a son, who was 15 by the time "Dayshift at Freddy's" 2 takes place. This has been later retconned by DirectDoggo on Tumblr.

Peter's death was around 1980, and was caused when he was preforming with Henry in Farfour and Henry started kidnapping Children. Peter tried to stop him and told Henry that he could not take any customers into the backroom. Henry then proceeds to trigger his springlocks. After that, Steven, sends him to the factory, making him a Gen 2 Phone Guy.

While alive, Peter was an orphan and took care of his two siblings, Jack and Dee, but had to leave home, after getting married, leaving Jack to take care of Dee. He heavily regrets leaving them alone, feeling like all that happened was his fault and that they wouldn't forgive him.

Personality[]

Peter's shown to be a more laid-back, yet still autorative boss compared to the previous game's manager, Steven, giving 2 warnings before firing the player instead of one. Peter has a more serious behavior in neutral routes, only having a boss-employee relationship with Jack, though he shows empathy to his employees overall, refuses to send dead ones to the factory and is friendly, most of the time.

In the Good Endings, Peter opens up more as the game progresses, and shows to be deeply kind and charismatic, hugging Jack in the end of the shifts and treating him as a friend. Peter also shows to be ready to be scrapped if it means Dave's gone and the company keeps going.

In Evil Routes, however, Peter expresses his anger towards Jack and doesn't show any bits of caring, and doesn't hesitate to stand up against him, if needed to. He reveals that he attended to the dead children's funerals, and seems to mourn their death, even though he really didn't have too, showing that he never let his more human side go. By the end of the Pure Evil/An Ending route, Peter accepts his fate, revealing he's just tired of being a prey and slave to Freddy's, and begs for Jack to just end it all.

Relationships[]

Jack Kennedy

During the whole of 'Dayshift at Freddy's 2: Electric Boogaloo', he does not realize that Jack is his brother even though he seems to have a picture of his family when they were young (Dee, Jack and him).

His relationship with Jack depends on what actions the player chooses. As he has little-to-no contact with him, until he does something good or bad. Except during the Perfect Ending when he treats him as his friend since he helped him kill Dave and keep the joint open. At the end of the same ending, Peter and Jack go live together, with Peter regaining his memories back and seeing Jack as his brother.

In the evil routes, Peter confronts Jack about his misdeeds, ignoring any friendship they've had in any other paths. Depending on the route, he can fight either Dave or Jack, with both resulting in him meeting one of the Nightmares (Nightmare BB or Nightmare Foxy) in the Party Rooms. This results in either his death, or the death of Mike Jr, his fake son.

Dave Miller

The relationship between these two are complicated. As Peter seems to always be bothered by Dave in one way or another. But, Peter seems to be trying to keep this place up and running, the complete opposite goal of Dave, and tries to best to keep it that way.

Peter also seems to be cautious around Dave, as when he explains to Jack when he gets the job that Dave is hard to talk to.

At one point, in a desperate attempt to get rid of Dave, Peter crucified Dave on a replica wooden cross.

In the Flipside in the third game, however, it's shown that they probably have a more friendly relationship.

Caroline

Caroline is Peter's wife, and one of the few memories he has about before his death. When the player chooses to go the evil routes and fights Peter, he gives up mid fighting, and after going into a suicidal outburst, he says that he just wants to see Caroline again, showing how much he misses her. During the Perfect Ending, he can be seen watching TV with her. According to Caroline, Peter had told her a lot about Jack.

Dee Kennedy

A direct relationship seems scarce between Dee and Peter since he seems to have forgotten about her as Peter never mentions her during the game. Even though it is never mentioned by him about his sister (Dee) Peter seems to have a family photo of him, Jack and Dee hung up on his wall. By the third game, on the Flipside, it seems that Peter already remembers Dee. Dee seems very joyful on seeing his brother again, and seems to have forgiven him for leaving them.

Steven Stevenson

Steven was Peter's boss before his death. Steven reveals he viewed Peter as a very decent man and worker, and is sorry for having to ship him off to the Factory, even going to apologize to him in the Flipside, on the third game. Peter seems to be very neutral on Steven, and doesn't really seem to blame him for all of that.

The truth about Phone Guys[]

If you choose to help out Peter in DSAF 2, he will eventually reveal to you that, there are many more of him waiting in the location known as The Factory. He is not the same Phone Guy from Colorado (DSAF) And is a replacement from the factory to be the manager.

This explains how he "forgets" about you at the start of the game. When on Operation Springtrap, he will explain to you how he can remember fragments of his previous life. By the end of the game, Peter is able to remember both his old house and his wife, of which he goes back to.

The existence of the factory is confirmed in DSaF 3 in Month 2, where you buy/steal a Phone Guy to help you run the establishment.

Cut5

Peter Kennedy returns in the third game as a playable character.
