The animatronics are bipedal robots and are the main antagonists of the franchise.
In the second game, they consist of the previous aforementioned incarnations in a damaged state (Withered Freddy, Withered Bonnie, Withered Chica, and Withered Foxy) as well as their "updated" versions such as Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica and The Trashpile as well as a new character called Balloon Boy and Springtrap.
The springlock suits are unique but currently discontinued machinery in Dayshift at Freddy's series that functions as animatronics and costumes each in different mode. The player can wear these suits but can sometimes die.
In the first game, there are 2 wearable suits, Cool Cat and Honey Monster. There are 2 more suits that the player can't wear, Farfour and a Fredbear suit. Also, the real Fredbear has springlocks, it's unknown why considering him as an actual grizzly bear.

When Jack first purchase his pizzeria, he will have a Golden Freddy suit built by Jack, he will also have a few animatronic heads on the Saferoom's shelfs. The player can also salvage Spring Freddy but the Phone Guy will throw away the golden Freddy suit even if the player didn't want to throw it away.
